Good for all uses in the kitchen. One drawback is that the sliced items tends to stick to the blade as the blade is flat. Metal blades have an indentation to prevent the sticking.

Very sharp and also very light. Good for longer cutting chores. I can't say how well it does in the long run, but initial results are excellent.
