I love the ceramic pot! You can use it on a cooktop, in an oven or a microwave. You can clean it in the dishwasher, store it in the freezer, and use metal utensils with it. You can also take it directly from freezer to oven. Wow! I wish all my pots were that versatile. Heating the food on the stovetop and keeping it warm at the table, without worrying about electric cords, was important to me. So this fits the bill perfectly. The only thing I don't like is the hot spot near the flame. I need to figure out how to minimize that.
