My boyfriend would always boil over on my stainless stove and I would always have to clean it up and I would get upset - so when he saw this - we had to get it. No more boil overs! Love it!

I was so pleased when I received my purchase of this. I have these lids in 2 sizes and have given as a gift also. In haste to get dinner done I have been known to turn the burner too high when boiling potatoes, etc. I think you'll be happy with them.

It works great. The pots I boil things in most of the time are ten to 11 inches in diameter. The 12 inch version works very well. I tried a ten inch version on a ten inch pot and there wasn't enough hanging over the edge of the pot for it to work well. As long as you use the correct size it is a great tool.

the fact that I did not have to stand over the pot and adjust the heat to prevent water from boiling over is well worth the purchase of this lid!! I am wondering however if having the lid on the pot lengthens the cooking time.

This is a great product....No more messy "boil-overs".....Have used it for making large amounts of soup, chili, and boiled peanuts !!....All the "food-foam" is collected in the top with no overflow to the range top...Love the fact that it is dishwasher safe...Plan to order one for each of my daughters.
