My wife saw a product in a catalog to enable consistent thickness when rolling out pastry dough. She is the ultimate "gadget queen," so I was absolutely delighted when looking for such an aid in the Chef's catalog to find the multicolor rolling pin ring set. My wife was ecstatic upon opening this gift. "Wow," she stated. "These will go right on the rolling pin so I won't have to mess with those plastic spacers, trying to keep them parallel and, besides, these rings are color coded so I will know exactly which rings to grab when I need to roll out dough. What a great idea!" Thanks for making such a wonderful solution to a genuine need in the kitchen.

These are great. I wanted to make Alton Brown's cracker recipe but really needed to get the right thickness. This was the ticket. Thank you! They worked perfectly!

THE RINGS ARE WORKING OUT GREAT, JUST WHAT I WANTED. THEY ARE STRONG SO THEY SHOULD LAST A VERY LONG TIME. I'VE NEVER BEEN DISAPPOINTED IN WHAT I PURCHASE FROM CHEF'S.

The color coding is very nice, but the inside diameters of each pair is different from the others. This is a poor design feature. The ring pair I was most interested in was the 1/8". To make sure I had the proper rolling pin I went to a local speciality wood working shop and had them turn down a 19" long piece of maple to 2 1/2". I can use all 4 pairs on my new rolling pin, but I really need to stretch the smallest set to get them on. For these rings to work you will need a rolling pin that is thick enough to snuggly hold the rings and long enough to keep the rings off of the dough. The company that makes these ring sets should (1) make each ring in a single set the same inside diameter and (2) make different sets to accomodate different sized rolling pins.

these work really well, I liked these so much that I ordered 6 more for xmas gifts, easy to put on and take off. The only drawback is you you can't roll out dough as big-because you will roll over the dough and the rings will make a imprint in the dought, but that is the ONLY bad thing, I just make my dough into smaller batches.. GREAT GIFT..........

The rings are to large for my rolling pin. Wish you would of said they only fit a certain size pin.

The rings fit around my 2 1/2 in. diameter rolling pin. I've only used the blue rings so far to make homemade ravioli. The thickness was good to make the ravioli dough. The only slight negative was that when you put the rings on, you have to straighten the rings because they get crooked and it takes a few minutes to get it completely straight. But i plan on using the rings again!

The listing did not state that the rings fit rolling pins of at least 2 1/2" diameter. I ordered the bakers' rolling pin and the rings and the rings did not fit it. The listing should state which pins they fit.
