Excellent grease container. Sturdy, well-made, top fits securely, and love the handle. I bought two - one for home and one for investment property so our tenants don't pour grease down the sink. I highly recommend this product.

I have always used a glass jar to keep my bacon grease. It was so difficult to strain and get into the jar without a mess. This product makes it so simple with the built in strainer. The stainless steel makes it attractive enough to keep on my countertop. This is a must have in the kitchen.

My sister and I had been looking for an oil storage can like our Mom used to have. This fit the bill perfectly. Large enough that you can fry chicken or fries and then store the left over oil for use again. Nice little strainer on top to catch the crumbs. Thanks so much for a great product.

This is a great product and Ive no idea why I did not purchase years ago. Tight lid gives reassurance that grease will not end up spilling out.. One of my best purchases this year and such a simple tool.

I would recommend this, but with conditions. What I did like is the look, size, and price. Where this item falls short is with the inner stainless steel filter.
First the filter holes are too large, which allows much more solid material to enter into the stored grease. Secondly, when pouring the used grease into this container, the metal filter was not disigned with a venting port, so the grease often times will not flow into the container due to a vacuum. This is problematic, because the space between the filter, and the top rim of the container fills up very quickly, and you must lift the filter, to break the vacuum, to allow the oil to flow down into the container. So my only issue, which is the biggest issue, is that the inner metal filter must be redesigned. Perhaps a metal mesh like that of a metal strainer would work perfectly.

I bought this to store the oil from my deep fryer. I have a small one but this container. at 1.5 quarts, wasn't big enough for storing all the oil. I plan to buy another to solve this problem. Make one at 2.5 quarts and problem solved.

Product does an okay job, but the filter insert allows big chunks of whatever you were frying through. When I went to poor the oil back into the large jug, I noticed large pieces of fish batter and okra batter that the filter had let through.
