This is my 3rd style of Global Knives. I love them all but I use the Serrated Utility knife for almost everything, even for meat. My attraction to them is the feel and fit of the metal handle which is far superior to the many "good" wood handle knives that I have owned. It just seems to give me more power to cut and definitely the sharpness. It is hard to break away from wood handles but once you do you will never go back.
