Like this product, but it is not non-stick January 29, 2008

"I really like this pan! It heats up really fast and evenly. I find I'm using a lower temperature than my older pans (saving energy is never a bad thing!). However, this was my first move away from pans with non-stick coatings and food does stick. Not to the point its unedible, but stirring is a bit more important than with non-stick pans. If you soak the pan a bit after use, everything comes off. The good news is that as food sticks a bit, browning is easier."

"My son helps me a lot in the kitchen. Not only is the bowl stable and dries well, it is also easy to use and he loves helping me wash, spin and stop the spin. With the spin bowl being removable, we use it to wash food within the sink. Great tool!"

"My son and I cook together and I'm always looking for ways to involve him that doesn't include the kitchen’s more dangerous activities. The Egg Slicer is awesome. It also can be used to cut mushrooms, which we put in salads, meat balls, sauces, etc. I’m sure we’ll find more things it can cut over time. He loves getting his bowl of stuff to cut and contently uses the product with no issues. Occasionally he actually gets to cut an egg!"

"This was a major disappointment. First the product arrived with one of the cutting teeth broken and a second broke on first use. I did not think it was anywhere near the quality Chefs usually carries. Additionally I purchased it so my son could help me in the kitchen, however, the crank turning difficulty is dependent on how much is in the bowl, an I found I had to chop the herbs quite a bit before the handle could crank through with a child's ease. Needless to say, this is now in the garbage and I either cut small amounts or use the mini-food processor if we have a lot to chop."

"The spatulas are great for baking, and small jars. But my son really likes them as they are "right sized" for him and he can scrape bowls without the large stick leverage difficulties."
