I am a Culinary Student and took an Italian Cuisine Class last semester. I knew half way through the semester I had to have my own pasta roller and cutter set attachments for my KitchenAid stand up mixer. I started looking for a set I could afford and found just what I wanted on the CHEFS website. I am so pleased to have easily ordered and then so quickly received my pasta set. So now I have Pasta Making Get Togethers with some of my classmates or close friends about once a week. We plan a day and time and what to make and we make some wonderful pasta and have so much fun. We used the same attachments in our Italian Cuisine Class so I knew the quality and ease of the Kitchen Aid set. Who knew that getting my own pasta roller and cutters set would lead to Friends playing with their food and enjoying it so thoroughly.

My only son who is a chef and I love to cook home made pastas . We both are passionate cooks, but because of my present health condition ( breast cancer ) my right arm became weak making it difficult for me to use the manual pasta maker i have at home. This product was an answered prayer for me, it was easy to operate and clean. Thank you for such an amazing product, now nothing can stop me from making pastas not even the big C !!!!

Received one day and used the following day. I am used to the table top mounted roller and cutter. The KitchenAid makes processing press pasta easy, quick and will do it much more often.

These attachments were a dream to work with! We previously made pasta with a counter-top hand-cranked pasta roller and cutter. It was very hard to handle the pasta with one hand and crank with the other. With these attachments, pasta making was a breeze. We made it easier, faster, and wound up making a lot more because it was so enjoyable!! Homemade pasta will be making regular appearances at our home now! No need to wait for special occasions!

Fresh pasta is wonderful and easy as well with these excellent add-ons for a KitchenAid mixer. But, have you experienced the real joy of homemade crackers? Crackers are easy to make, other than the pain of rolling them thin -- which is where an electric pasta roller comes in. Now the all-afternoon hand cranking of my pasta machine roller is a thing of the past and I can whip out crackers to my heart's content!

Personally, I am somewhat of a novice to cooking, and have yet to use these KitchenAid attachments. I now have all the known attachments made for my Professional Lift Model. My kitchen is rather compact and I am now saving for a portable baking board to roll-out my dough. I really love to cook (its my therapy) and am looking forward to finally making my own home made pasta!
I also like the KitchenAid system, rather than the newer progressive machines that usually cost more anyway. Old school is good enough for me. Happy Cooking! VR

After years of using the hand crank machine-what an upgrade-wondering why I waited. Roller works great and the cutters-wow-may never buy dry pasta again!!! I love it!!!

I have always made my pasta by hand and it is tough trying to crank with one hand and feed AND retrieve with the other. This attachment makes it so easy and fun. Definitely worth buying.

I was afraid to try to make homemade pasta but this attachment to my KitchenAid mixer makes it fun and easy. On my 1st try I made a roasted red pepper pasta that came out great. Putting the freshly made dough through the pasta roller is fun... and both of the cutters work great! Only problem I had was trying to make lasagne noodles, the dough ripped apart. I believe I was trying to feed too much dough through the roller at once.

I purchased the pasta roller attachment. Chef's Catalog had the best price!
I have used the pasta roller several times. It is so easy. No spending energy rolling out pasta dough. I could never get pasta dough rolled so thin, easy to cut and making ravioli is a breeze. I highly recommend this attachment to whoever who has a passion for cooking.

One of the reasons we purchased Kitchenaid stand mixer was because of this attachment. We bought top of the line professional mixer (during holiday sales $$ ended up same price as Kitchen aid model with less options). Read reviews on many vendor websites and will continue the positive feedback. Glad we did not buy the full-set including the ravioli maker based on numerous terrible reviews. As suggested & appreciated reviews recommending this KPRA; the spaghetti cutter is just fine and is almost as thin as any angel hair pasta. Basically the 2 "cutting settings" for pasta are wide & narrow. Both JUST FINE and provide enough difference. We also bought the Kitchenaid drying rack and found it VERY helpful to the process as well. Have had for about a month now & have used many times. Will be trying the KPEXTA & FGA soon. P.S. we make extra large batches & has frozen very well.

I had never made fresh pasta until using this product. I have never used the hand crank type. I use this set all the time with my mixer and it is easy to use. I love making fresh pasta and my kids love eating it! My 3 year old begs for Mommy's pasta all the time. I love to hear my picky 16 month old eagerly saying "Pasta, Pasta"! I am so glad I purchased this item after having my eye on it for months! Great purchase!

I adoro eat pasta, but fresh. Also i like so much more the flavor that is when do up myself. This is the perfect accessory allows me to do pasta without great effort, and i regret not having purchased before.

I tried a hand roller before trying this attachment and this one wins hands down! It makes quick work of rolling and cutting. I used it for spaghetti, fettucine and raviolli and all have come out great. This is a definite time saver for anyone that has a KitchenAid mixer.

I asked my son who owns two restaurants in Chicago to recommend a pasta machine. Based on his recommendation, I bought this attachment and am thrilled. Nothing like home made pasta. It doesn't compare with store bought dried pasta. And this attachment makes it a breeze. Lasagna noodles are fantastic. Once you have had lasagna with home made noodles (they melt in your mouth), you'll never eat lasagna any other way. I haven't tried making spinach pasta but this attachment will make it easy to try. I do suggest buying the pasta rack. Otherwise, spread a clean sheet on a queen or king size bed and spread out the fresh pasta to dry.
