First electric sharpener (besides a grinder!) I've owned or used. I've spent many hours hand sharpening my knives over the years, & this sharpener approaches what I always thought was just about perfect! Easy to use, especially maintaining proper angles. Honing is very good, too... and works well on my serrated knives. I'm convinced!

I love using this to sharpen my knives. Before this I would just buy new knives and still had a drawer full of dull knives. Now my knives are sharp and can cut a tomato without squashing it. Looks great, wonderful quality, easy to store or you can leave it on your countertop.

The ChefsChoice M120 sharpens worderfully and saves so much time. Prior to buying the the M120, I sharpened my knives using a honing stone and oil. It takes little more than thrity minutes to sharpen all my kitchen knives. I purchased the M120 to save time, which it did; it now takes about five minutes to sharpen all my knives. The unexpected benefit was the knives are so much sharper than before; I have used honing stones for years and never achieved sharpness like this.

I received this as a Christmas gift -- and it is fantastic. I've had my knives for about 5 years and no matter how regularly I attempted to sharpen them, there was no way I could achieve the original edge. With the Chefs Choice Edge Select, it took less than an hour to have them as sharp as new. I should have purchased it at the same time as my knives.

My husband had been wanting an electric knife sharpener to sharpen his very nice Hinkle Knives. He researched for days and finally decided on the Chefs Choice Pro M120 . This was the only birthday request he made. Since his birthday in February of this year, we have very sharp knives and he has invited everyone he knows to bring their dull knives so that he can use his new sharpener. He is a very happy camper with alot of sharp knives. A good product.

When I found out that the store that sharpens my knives closed, I was thankful I remembered that Cooks Illustrated had recommended this model as a best buy and I can see why. While I am not a professional, I appreciate a sharp knife and this does the job. I was able to easily use it straight out of the box and was very happy with the results. The directions are easy to follow, the edge of the blade is very sharp; trying it out on an apple yielded that lovely "shush" sound you get when slicking cleaning through a hard object. This morning I sent out an email to my girlfriends offering my sharpener up for their holiday preparations and I hope they take me up on it.

This product has well earned its top rating in "Consumer Reports". It is an absolute pleasure having a drawer full of well honed knives. If one takes the time to follow the instructions, this sharpener actually extends the useable life of your knives.
Food preparation is much easier with properly prepared tools. I would recomend this sharpener over taking your knives to a professional. Professionals charge by the piece. With this tool in your home, you can put a great edge on those knoves that you would never bother taking to a pro.

The Chef'sChoice Edge Select Pro Electric Sharpener M120 was easy to use right out of the box. It did an excellent job sharpening some very dull knife blades. It's small enough to leave on the kitchen counter or store in a cabinet. It included easy to understand instructions.

I bought this for my wife for Christmas ! Of course I had to open it and try it. Our knives are SO Bad. We have good brands of knifes Cutco, Henkel etc. She has already noticed our knifes are sharper. Won't she be surprised at Christmas when I tell her her new sharpener did it !

I purchased the Chef's Choice Edge Select Pro Electric Sharpener M120 hoping I would be able to re condition some of my favorite butcher knives. I process deer during hunting season and it's imperative you have sharp equipment. I am happy to report that the M120 handled the task. It brought the edges back to better than new condition and the best part is, it will be so easy to keep them that way. Super satisfied to say the least.

Absolutely love the Chef's Choice Pro Electric Sharpener M120. Very easy to use and it delivers what it promises...a great cutting/slicing edge. No more mangled tomatoes in our house! My aging non-serrated knife now slices tomatoes with great ease. I actually look forward to prepping meals now that my knives are functioning once again like new.
The smaller size makes it easy to stash the sharpener in minimal cupboard space.
Great product. Great value for the money.
