After many years of using the orginial cookware given to me as a wedding gift, I decided to purchase a set of cookware that woul last a lifetime (or several). I researched many products and dec ided that Scanpan made the cookware I wanted to buy. I have use my Scanpans for two years and find they are the best cookware on the market. They cok evenly on my ceramic surface, can be used in the oven at high temperatures, hold up to daily use with metal utensils, and clean easily. I believe my daughter will inherit my Scanpan cookwear and it will hold up for her lifetime as well. Thanks Scanpan!
I received this pot as part of a purchase of a larger set. I love the 2.75 quart size. It's very versatile and the size of the pot makes it easy to make smaller batches of my favorite soups and stews.
The design is great, with nicely-sized handles and a curved base so things don't get stuck in the corners--not that they would--Scanpan has a terrific (and very durable) non-stick coating, after all.
I have been using the Scanpan Classic product line for at least 10 years and I am still really happy with the non-stick finish on the pots and pans, even though I use them as my "every day" cookware--and yes, I use metal utensils!
