I have the 8 quart and had to go bigger because my family wanted more for take home after supper. I use this for soups and chili. This pot never sticks, heats evenly, and clean up is so easy. You really do get what you pay for. I so am so thankful I found you. Thank you.

I bought this stockpot to go with other Cuisinart pans that I own. I like the size of the pan and the quality of the materials. The pan heated up quickly and held sauce at a simmer without sticking. Cleanup was easy-I soaked it for a little while and then wiped it clean with dishwashing liquid and a cloth. Would definitely recommend this stockpot.

Great quality at a great price. All the stock pots I looked at were so expensive. I thought I was just destined to pay more than I wanted to get a quality item. When I saw this one in Chef's catalog I was thrilled. Cuisinart at that price? It is just as described. My old stock pot go tossed out after the umpteenth time of burning and sticking my sauce or thick soup to the bottom of the pot. So far, no sticking on this one.

Cuisinart cook wear is Fantastic. It is durable, beautiful, and it cooks foods such as pasta without the sticking that has occured when I have used other pots such as enamel.... This is a replacement for my first one that apparently someone else liked enough to take .... I would recommend this cookware as the only one you will ever need ..

Every kitchen needs one fabulous pot for when your making small or large batches of soups, stews, or in my case large batches of spaghetti sauce with meatballs and sausage, and this pot is it. . I bought this to replace a very old hand me down from my mother. The size is perfect, the weight is perfect, and nothing stuck to the bottom of the pot when i cooked my sauce in it . It is so well made, beautiful to look at, and the lid indeed works to keep the contents from spitting out all over your stove top. This wonderful pot is a keeper and if your thinking about purchasing it you won't be sorry.

Really recommend following manufacturer's instructions. We only had to turn the heat to a tad more than medium, and the water didn't take long at all to boil. I would've have loved a 10q and was a little concerned about ordering the 12, but after receiving it I realized that it's perfect for us since we make alot of one pot meals. Glad I ordered it!

I bought this Classic Stockpot while I was looking for a replacement for a dutch oven after the non-stick coating was damaged. (I eventually chose both - a Lodge cast iron dutch oven with glass lid that I have also reviewed, and this stock pot. Thanks to CHEF's for their awesome sale that made my double purchase possible!!) I have lots of Cuisnart appliances in my kitchen so I was eager to try their cookware, and I am totally thrilled. Great even heating on a low (gas) flame, no hot spots, and the handles are perfect - everybody's cookware should have these Cuisinart handles. I chose the 6-quart stock pot, and it's just the right size for cooking for two - I can boil spaghetti in the stock pot while the meat sauce slow-cooks in the Lodge dutch oven. Thanks to other customers for the Stock Pot reviews - you-all totally sold me on Cuisinart cookware and thanks to CHEF's for offering the great sale prices. Cuisnart and CHEF's is a great combination in my kitchen.

Once again Chef's Catalog came through with their excellent customer service. Through a mix up my order that I placed only 4or 5 days before Christmas missed out on the free two day shipping. But Chef;'s Catalog came through. They sent me a second stockpot one the two day delivery and told me to send the other pot back when it arrived. All I had to do was take it to a FedEx store and they scanned the return label and off the pot went back to the store at no cost to me. Great Job Chef's Catalog.

This was a gift for my spouse. This also replaced an inexpensive stockpot. In comparison, this stockpot is solid, and I can trust that it will provide more even cooking/ heat distribution. It also is a beautiful looking piece. Thank you!

I purchased this pot because I make a lot of homemade soups and needed a large pot for that. But more than that, I needed a non nonstick pan to make my mashed potatoes in. I use a potato masher and then an electric hand mixer to make them creamy and like to do that all in the same pot I cooked them in. This pot works WONDERFUL! And the price was great!!!

I'm impressed with this stockpot. It heats up quickly, but is high-quality, denser steel than the RevereWare piece it replaced. Its quality reminds me of Calphalon steel ware, or even approaching AllClad, my dream cookware. It's also nice to look at.
Glad it was on sale: most high-quality cookware is way overpriced, and you have to spend an awful lot to get what you need.
