Cuisinart cook wear is Fantastic. It is durable, beautiful, and it cooks foods such as pasta without the sticking that has occured when I have used other pots such as enamel.... This is a replacement for my first one that apparently someone else liked enough to take .... I would recommend this cookware as the only one you will ever need ..

Pros: Stay-cool handle, Warranty, even cooking, Heat distribution, size, Performs Well, durability, Value for Money, quality, Tight-fitting lid, Appearance/ Design /Style, Functional/Useful, Long-lasting

Great quality at a great price. All the stock pots I looked at were so expensive. I thought I was just destined to pay more than I wanted to get a quality item. When I saw this one in Chef's catalog I was thrilled. Cuisinart at that price? It is just as described. My old stock pot go tossed out after the umpteenth time of burning and sticking my sauce or thick soup to the bottom of the pot. So far, no sticking on this one.
Pros: Stay-cool handle, even cooking, construction, Performs Well, capacity, Easy to Clean/Wash, Value for Money, Tight-fitting lid, Appearance/ Design /Style

Once again Chef's Catalog came through with their excellent customer service. Through a mix up my order that I placed only 4or 5 days before Christmas missed out on the free two day shipping. But Chef;'s Catalog came through. They sent me a second stockpot one the two day delivery and told me to send the other pot back when it arrived. All I had to do was take it to a FedEx store and they scanned the return label and off the pot went back to the store at no cost to me. Great Job Chef's Catalog.

This was a gift for my spouse. This also replaced an inexpensive stockpot. In comparison, this stockpot is solid, and I can trust that it will provide more even cooking/ heat distribution. It also is a beautiful looking piece. Thank you!

I purchased this pot because I make a lot of homemade soups and needed a large pot for that. But more than that, I needed a non nonstick pan to make my mashed potatoes in. I use a potato masher and then an electric hand mixer to make them creamy and like to do that all in the same pot I cooked them in. This pot works WONDERFUL! And the price was great!!!

I'm impressed with this stockpot. It heats up quickly, but is high-quality, denser steel than the RevereWare piece it replaced. Its quality reminds me of Calphalon steel ware, or even approaching AllClad, my dream cookware. It's also nice to look at.
Glad it was on sale: most high-quality cookware is way overpriced, and you have to spend an awful lot to get what you need.

Good even heating. I haven't had a problem with anything sticking so far. The handles are easy to grab and hold, even when pouring things out of the pot. The only thing that I did not expect was how big it would be - not having my old pot to compare, I tried to judge the size of this one based on the picture but I think they showed the picture of the 8-qt for the 12-qt description - but it fits in my cabinet and as my husband says, our boys are not going to be getting any smaller! I think it is a fantastic addition to my kitchen and I couldn't be happier with it.

This product is a really great value - good heavy handles and reinforced bottom. Nice stainless finish. Sides are somewhat thin, but overall a well made and good looking stockpot. Unless it's intended as a real heavy-duty workhorse, it should more than satisfy the home cook.

I'm buying a second one of these pots today because I had a very good experience with it when I used it for the first time this past weekend. I was preparing Creole dishes that call for long simmers with sometimes-difficult ingredients (tomato, roux, rice, etc.). I also re-heated the contents of the pot with no difficulty. I have had very different experiences (not good) in the past with inexpensive pots. While it is true that this may not be the heaviest, most bullet-proof pot in the cooking world, for the price ($60) it is, as my mama used to say, 'a deal you can't beat with a stick!'

OK but NOT perfect

Price was right, but this stock pot is WAY on the light side but adequate for what I needed it for - cooking up LARGE batches of chili/tomato sauce/etc that i slow cook in the oven after starting on the stovetop - so I was looking for a stockpot that was NOT too tall - and the 12quart model fits just fine
So, it is NOT up to the quality of the $250+ high end stockpots, but it definitely is affordable and I not unhappy with it
