"I have owned this machine for 7+ years, and it is still going strong and we use it every day. The coffee tastes exquisite, it you love superb coffee, this machine is the one. It keeps the coffee hot, the programmer is easy to use, and very dependable. I have owned many different brands of coffee makers and none have ever lasted as long as this one. In fact, it seemed like I was buying a new machine every year, but not any more. When I bought mine, it was higher in price, so I consider this price a steal. So, if you're in the market for a new coffee maker, rest assured, this will be a great choice for you."

Best Coffee maker I have ever owned

"I have had this coffee maker for over a year now. Before, like most of us out here. I thought that a coffee maker was a coffee maker. Not True! This coffee maker made a believer out of me. I had never tasted such GREAT, flavorful coffee. I also use less coffee in this maker than the other brands. I have never regretted buying my Cuisinart Coffee maker. It is very easy to set up and use. I love that I can change the auto shut off time I want anywhere from 1 to 4 hours. And I get to choose the burner temp low, medium, or high. I love this coffee maker and would recommend it to anyone looking for GOOD coffee."

"We got this as a wedding gift from a friend who already owned one, and I'm tempted to buy a second just in -case- it ever breaks . The coffee it brews really does taste better! This is also the only coffee pot we've ever had that can actually brew a perfect single cup of coffee. I get up later than my husband, and the pot keeps the coffee at drinking temperature without altering the flavor even after a full 4 hours of warming. AND the carafe doesn't dribble or spill - which more than makes up for the slight difficulty of checking the water level inside the water tank. My family was so impressed by the flavor and function, my parents bought their own."

"I like several features of the machine like the temperature control of the heating plate and the auto shutoff. I also like the 1- 4 cup setting for those times when I'm making just enough for me.
Makes a wonderful cup of coffee, and doesn't take up a lot of counter room, would definately recommend"

"We thought this was the best coffee maker we had ever purchased also, but.........after owning it for a little more than one year, it started to leak out of the front bottom seam. There is no way to repair it, and the warranty is, of course, over with. We have always taken very good care of this appliance, and I am very disappointed with the quality. I have a Cuisianrt food processor that is 25 years old and it is still going strong ! I guess coffee makers are not made to the same high standards as the food processors..So, buyer beware !"

Best one we have ever had

"This, by far makes the best coffee. My old coffee maker (different brand) was going bad and we decided on the Cuisinart "Mat Black" finish. From the first batch it was the best coffee we have ever had at home. I now enjoy my coffee. Also having bought the "Mat Black" finish it stays clean, shows no finger prints and looks good on the counter. Not necessarily "self explanatory" to set up, and we actually had to "read" the instructions, but once we did it was smooth sailing. Bottom line.... we recommend it highly"

Good coffee... but...

"- The coffee is good. - The specs are frustrating - There is a very short electric cord and - The water reservoir is small and difficult to reach - The net result is every time I pull out the coffee maker to add water; I unplug it and then need to reset the time!!!"

"i shopped for a long time to pick out my new coffee maker, the last one i had bought 6 years ago.first i bought the black and stainless steel- love the look, second you will notice that this macine is made well. right out of the box it looked and feels like quailty.love all the controls. easy to understand and use.i like the 1-4 cup setting very much, nice HOT coffee. and YES it makes great coffee, i feel like i have a little "starbucks" in my kitchen!"

"I have purchased so many coffee makers throughout my life and this one is the best. It brews great coffee, the program feature is the best, it's looks great in any kitchen, easy to clean and all parts can be washed in the dishwasher so it makes it so easy to clean up. I've had mine for three years and is still in great shape and brews just as good as when we first purchased it. It's not complicated to operate or clean up. All the features are fabulous and for the price, it is a great deal. It is worth every penny. I love my coffee maker!!"

Solid performer

"I've had this pot for several years now and have not experienced any problems with it, other than the ones my hard water, low cabinets, and lack of pouring skills have caused. I do think that the water level indicator, which is located inside the reservoir rather than on the outside, is very difficult to read, and the positioning of the reservoir on the back is an invitation to a messy spill. The appliance is very large; it is over fourteen inches tall, and it is impossible to open the lid to access the water reservoir while it is stored under my upper cabinets. It does have nice features like the gold coffee filter, the carafe temperature settings, the auto start and stop mechanisms, and brew pause, as well as the ability to make a smaller pot of coffee, and the price is attractive as well. If you want a LARGE coffeemaker, this is a good candidate, but keep a towel under it to catch the spills."

"I have had my Cuisinart Coffeemaker over 3 years and have not had a problem. I have tried many brands and after 18 months to 2 years they break. This coffeemaker has consistently made great coffee; we make coffee every morning (and occassionally more than once a day). I have the stainless model and it looks great on my counter.
I would not hesitate in purchasing any appliance that is made by Cuisinart."

"Really like the programing feature. It is wonderful for waking up to the aroma of fresh coffee. Fairly easy to program the first time, just hang on to your manual. Not so easy without the instructions. Offers an auto shut off feature that is nice. Tried the 12 option once and the grounds overflowed into the pot. Usually keep it under 12. Location for pouring water is tight in the back next to the lid."

"This is the first Cuisinart coffee maker I have purchased, and it may be my last. During its first year, it worked great. However, it now turns off whenever it wants too--even in the middle of a brew cycle. Some days it works great, but there are many, many times it will turn itself off as soon as the brewing cycle is complete. I like the way it looks, and all of its features. I am not going to replace it yet because I purchased a lot of the water filters during the first year and I don't want to have to throw them away. Apparently, the filters will only work in this particular coffee maker. So I will continue using this one only until I run out of replacement filters."

"I've owned this model for about four years now. It's been a solid performer, producing a great cup of coffee each time. It does just as good a job brewing 2 cups as it does brewing 12. It is programmable for automatic turn on and has an automatic turn off feature, which comes in handy as I have at times forgotten to turn off the machine. It's easy to clean. It does have a charcoal filter that has to be replaced every 6 months or so, depending upon how often you use it an how mineralized your local water is."
