processor requires less than 1 square foot of counter
space. Can knead up to 3 pounds of bread dough in less
than 2 minutes, mix batter for five 8" cake layers
or dough for about 90 cookies. Large and small feed
tubes for a variety of foods. Simple, user-friendly
controls. Comes with stainless-steel slicing and
shredding discs, stainless-steel chopping blade, plastic

Parts are dishwasher safe; housing wipes clean.

"This is a item that all kitchens need. You can use it for small or large groups. I have used this to prepare for as little as two people and for as many as 140 people. It can do almost everything, but cook the food you are preparing. You can slice, dice, mix, or knead all in the same unit. Once again it is an item that every kitchen should have. If you enjoy cooking this item makes it even more enjoyable."

Best Ever Processor

"I recently purchased this Cuisinart. I still had my fifteen year old KitchenAid. I wanted a processor I could leave on the countertop that matched my appliances and I wanted a larger capacity. I chose this 14 cup. Well I must say I should have done it years ago. I can't say enough about it. Not only is it great looking and it takes up very little counter space, but it easily out-performs my KitchenAid. The optional blades are a bit pricey, so I need to decide which set I want first. I would buy it again, so don't hesitate."

"I recently replaced my old Cuisinart with this new one. My old one went to my dauhter-in-law, still going strong after 13 years of my using it with a fanily of 7. I absolutely love ,love, love this machine! Wheater I'm cooking for my family or a large party this makes my life so much easier. I use it when I 'm canning to cut and prepare vegetables which saves a ton of time! Making soup is faster when I can zip through the vegetables in my Cuisinart. At Thanksgiving I make all of my pie crust in my Cuisinart. I proudly display it on my counter which sometimes starts a conversation on how no kitchen should be without this machine."

"This is the one of the best purchases I have EVER made! My grandmother had a much older model, which my sister still uses. I do a lot of cooking; cookies, doughs, various veggie pancakes, etc. and this food processor is a work horse! It never jams and it is easy to clean! I love it! It cuts anything I put in there and it takes less than five minutes to clean up! If you are looking for a food processor to last a lifetime and then some, this is absolutely the one you want to buy!"

"I love this Food Processor. I also got an extra work bowl and it makes it even more useful. You can use one and just keep going,when your doing several things.I think the clean up is easy and just throw it in the dishwasher. WOW talk about making an easy Piecrust. I make it before work in 1- min. ( works great with any recipe) throw in the fridge and finish it when I get home from work. Bread making is great also. Leave it on the counter and you will use it more then you think."

This older design still beats the competition

"Interestingly enough men seem to like these better than women. My wife and daughter are not alone in finding this unit awkward to use. The lid and locking mechanism, necessary for safety and easy enough for a man's larger hands, seems balky and awkward for many women. Both the Kitchen Aid and the newer series from Cuisinart seem better from this perspective. This same locking mechanism and top are difficult to clean. Things that tend to stick and dry can be very difficult to clean up if they are allowed to set up. After slicing mushrooms, for example, clean the top and bowl immediately. If you forget the dishwasher seems to work better than trying to wash these parts by hand. With that said, this is still be best food processor that I have had the pleasure to use. It has a powerful motor, large capacity, and has never failed to get the job done. As other reviewers have said, leave it on the counter as it will then get used constantly. Some people think a small processor is better for small jobs, but I find this one is all I need. A second bowl can really speed things up at times. I also strongly recommend the accessory holder."

Excellent perforance - one design flaw

"The power is excellent -- nothing stops the blade but thick cheese, and that's only temporary. I have been very pleased by the consistency of the speed. The chopping blade purees and can reduce Parmesan to dust. However, the plastic used for the bowl and the chute is not as durable as I would have liked. Cracks have appeared and bits have snapped off in ordinary use. Also, the upper part of assembly is not as easy to clean as I think it should be."

"If you are looking for the BEST food processor out there, go with this one. It is so well made and looks great on the counter (important since I never put it away!). I use it everyday and it really stands up to the task. It is perfect for making pie crust and doughs, a great shredder for cheese and blending for sauces. Cleans up in a jiffy, too. I've had a few processors over the years, but this is by far and away the best. If you love to cook, this is a must have. And if you don't, it will make your life ALOT easier. Cuisinart makes excellent products!"

"I got this food processor to help make pizza dough. Because we haven't stocked up on wood for the pizza oven, I have not made dough yet. I have found numerous other uses though. It was phenomenal for a batch of baba ghanoush I made for a party, sliced potatoes for a favorite dish, and made a great salsa. I now have many planned uses for it that I didn't expect."
