I purchased one of the 20" bars about 6 years ago. I absolutely love it. I decided to purchase 2 of the 15" bars so i could make a knife briefcase. These worked perfectly!!! Thank you Chefs catalog!!

I love these knife holders. I have a 20" & a 15" to fit in a corner. The magnets are really strong & classy looking. You can always see what knife you need unlike the angled wood blocks. You must be careful about ALWAYS ALWAYS having the knives pointing downward & the sharp edges away from you. If you have great knives you have to have these holders to show them off, especially if you have Shuns. P.S. the magnets won't work with Kyocera knives. Hope this information helps you if are thinking about buying them. They make great gifts for "wanta be" chefs too.........like me, a old retired accountant with not alot of hair left.

Not a whole lot one can say. it's easy to put up, albeit the hollow wall anchors furnished with it are worse than worthless. It's magnetic. When you hold a knife next to it, the knife sticks. It's powerful enough so that heavy poultry shears stay up. It does exactly what it purports to do.

I have very little space in my kitchen and no room on the counters for knife blocks. The bar solves that problem by giving me a chance to use unutilized space on the wall. I received two new sets of knives for Christmas and now I have a place to put them! Also, they look very pretty showed off on the bars. Especially the brightly colored set:) I liked them so much I bought two for the house and one for the RV!

This magnetic knife holder has a powerful magnet. It mounts securely to the wal in no time. It will tale you longer to gather your tools than it takes to get it on the wall. You need a screw driver, a hammer and a drill. Pop the endcaps off, mark your holes then drill. Next you pound in the drywall anchors, place the bar over the holes and screw in the screws. Pop the endcaps back on and set out your knives. I have all my heavy knives and some of the more frequently used smaller ones on it. Good product. Frees up counter and drawer space.

I was expecting just a flimsy piece of metal to hang on the wall. Well, I should have known better. Chef never sends anything half made. When the box came, I could barely lift it. This product is amazing. The magnet inside of this bar is so heavy and it is made so well, I am very impressed with the quality of this product. I am re-doing my kitchen and I am almost like the commercial with the faucet. I feel like making the kitchen around the knife bar. What quality!

I love this product. This is my second one. the magnets are strong and holds the knives in plce very well. I can even keep my Steel hanging on it. It is very easy to hang and looks nice too. The only thing I might complain about is, that they could make an even longer one. Highly recommend

This knife holder has the best features of any on the market. The magnet is strong, the installation on my tile backsplash was easy and it looks great. I like that I can include more knives with the added length and still have room for my kitchen shears.

I've been wanting one of these knife holders for my new home but couldn't decide on choice. I was leery of products I couldn't see and touch to mount on wall and hold my knives. My girlfriend had purchased one and loved it and I was impressed with its strength and appearance. It was mounted on the wall within two days of receipt and I love it. It is exactly what I wanted and it holds the knives in place beautifully.

This knife holder is stylish, efficient and effective. I had purchased another brand in the past and this one is much nicer looking. If you choose this item I suggest going with the larger 20" version. It is large enough to hold all of our quality knives with a little space to spare. Our previous knife holder was of the shorter variety and only very careful placement allowed for all of knives to be placed on it at once.
