I just used them. I thought they worked like a dream. I am so happy. I can now buy whole chickens on sale and cut them my self. Instead of paying the extra $ .25- $.50 a pound more because it was way to hard to do with the knives and scissors I used previously. Well I found nothing wrong with these. The price was so fantastic I could not resist. I have priced them to be $100 and up. I can't beat $40 plus free shipping with a speedy delivery. They arrived so soon I just could not believe it. I received them in 4-5 days from ordering! I have never experienced that with any free shipping deal!

Have only had the shears for two week and therefore have only put it to limited use - poultry and wild duck - but so far it has passed w/flying colors! Couldn't be more pleased.

the ergonomic design of these scissors made this work probably in half the time. My hands and fingers weren't sore after like my old poultry scissors.Well worth the money !

My family loves chicken wings so I buy the full wing packs and cut them up myself. These shears cut through chicken joints like scissors through paper. I also like to de-fat the main drumstick and cut the excess skin off the smaller joint pieces. This is the only Poultry Shear that can do it all. My first one lasted 8 years cutting through thousands of wings before it finally got loose enough that it can't do the fine cutting of skin. It still cuts through the bone joints no problem so I still get use out of it. I save my newest pair just to do the fine skin cuts and de-fatting the wings. Every kitchen needs this tool!

I am on limited income so these were an investment for me. For example: I purchase whole chickens when they are on sale. I like to butterfly my birds for they cook faster and more evenly. I am as old as dirt and loving it. However, my hands have issues and these make it easy for me to take on the task relatively pain free.

I would definitely suggest these shears to others; even though they do have a hard plastic handle as opposed to the metal handles, they are very durable and easy to use. I buy a lot of Whole Chickens, and these give a very precise and defined cut.

Highly recommend. Easy to use they cut beutifully..just cut a whole chicken right in half unbelievable how easy it was with these poultry shears. They are defintely worth the money. Love them
