"This is a great product! I never realized the awesome potential for a simple iron skillet until I used one. It's probably why my grandmother never used anything but iron. Sure, I still use my $$$ non-stick stuff, but this is the original non-stick. It's iron. There's really nothing you can do to it to hurt it. I cook with it just about every night. It does come pre-seasoned, but depending on what you're going to cook, I'd re-season it first (simple instuctions are in the great recipe book). I'd also recommend starting out with fatty foods (meats, bacon, etc). Do that the first few times and then you're all set. You'll never have to season it again with the proper care. And it's clean after just some hot water and elbow grease!"
