All-Clad Stainless-Steel Fry Pan : From a wide,
flat base, the sides of this pan curve up and out,
making it easy to flip or turn foods as they cook.
Designed for quick cooking in a small amount of oil or
butter, the fry pan is also great for browning and
sauteing. The 8" size is ideal for one or two
servings, or for small tasks such as sauteing chopped
onion or mushrooms for another dish. The 10"
size is perfect for three to four servings, to pan-fry
up to three burgers, or to make a generous omelet for
two. The 12" pan is well-suited for family-size
portions of meats or side dishes such as stir-fried
broccoli rabe or pan-fried potatoes. The 14"
extra-large pan is ideal for pan-frying or searing good
cuts of beef and has a helper handle; we especially like
it for making steak au poivre. Also great for making a
big batch of potato latkes. All-Clad's leading
cookware line is brilliantly styled with a hand-polished
gleaming stainless-steel finish that many of the
world's professional and home chefs prefer. The
18/10 stainless-steel interior will not react with your

Received as gift - highly recommended
October 19, 2007 tgrllyctfrom Inverness, FL
"My husband and I received this as a gift several years back. Originally I didn't think I would use this pan much because it seemed "small." Boy was I wrong! I use this pan ALL THE TIME! It's the best pan I own, and we are considering upgrading to all All-Clad products. Even heat-distribution; easy clean-up; perfect size for heating up food, making sauces, sauteeing onions - you name it! We LOVE this pan! Highly recommended. You won't be sorry you ordered this pan!"

Excellent pan but slippery handle
August 21, 2008 Cyberiderfrom Tempe, AZ
"These are excellent pans and they cook evenly due to the thick aluminum core. The only downside is that the handles are hard to hold on to, especially if the pan is heavily loaded."

The "little black dress" of cookware
June 2, 2008 Melaniafrom Clemmons, North Carolina
"After struggling to make pretty omelets in substandard fry pans by other manufacturers, I decided to splurge and buy the 12" All-Clad Stainless Steel version. After using it for a few months, I can honestly say it compares to the perfect "little black dress" in many women's wardrobes; you reach for it again and again for a variety of occasions! This pan is easy to clean, light to handle and is great for sauteeing, frying and making omelets. Now I am ready to buy the smaller sizes as well for two-person meals."

Worth every penny!
January 22, 2008 Sparkles29from Atlanta, GA
"All-Clad will probably outlast me in this life, and I still have a ways to go!
From the most perfect browning to even heat distribution, this pan is fantastic for everything. If you heat it properly and use whatever oil or butter you need (again, heating accordingly) you won't have sticking issues.
I've used all other major brands, and am now working to replace with All-Clad pieces!"

cooking healthy with All-clad
November 30, 2007 trissyfrom newcastle, wa
"Talking about All-clad is, to me, like eating chocolate kisses--I have to restrain myself!! Anyway, I purchased all-clad copperchef and needless to say, I love it. But then I started looking at the stainless steel line, and now I am hooked. It of course has the same non-stick -like surface that copperchef has--I can fry an egg with just a spritz of olive oil! With the 8" pan, I cook my hubby's oatmeal, clean up is a cinch with hot soapy water, and I'm off to cooking in it a nice omelet for two--and it is so easy to flip--breakfast in under 30 minutes. Definitely my favorite pan!"

In the beginning.......
November 18, 2007 Rd2bMDfrom NY and PA
"Even a young cooker like myself, and male none the less, can appreciate the beauty in this pan. This is my first All-Clad cooking pan, and I am now looking forward to furthering my collection. Even though I'm still in school, I enjoy cooking each and every night. The evenness and consistency with which this pan cooks is amazing. And, it cleans up perfectly...so much so that even my roommates (hesitant in the kitchen at best!) comment on how nice the pan looks. Even though I'm no gourmet, cooking with this pan is downright fun...and my girlfriend never seems to complain when I say, "dinner's ready!""

A Kitchen Essential!
October 25, 2007 LAistfrom Los Angeles, CA
"An absolute kitchen essential! This is a must-have in any kitchen, large or small. The pan will last through basically everything. I use it to brown things on the stove top, and then put the whole thing in the oven to cook all the way through, sometimes even putting it under the broiler to brown the top. The pan will handle anything-- it's the magic of All Clad. I use this pan for virtually everything. Yes, $50 for an 8-inch frying pan might seem ludicrous, but you'll probably never replace it: ever."

All-Clad Stainless Steel
October 25, 2007 Larryfrom St. Louis
"My first experience with All-Clad was three years ago when I took a chance and purchased an 8" fry pan. I was astounded by how well this product performes. The pan heats quickly and adjusts evenly when the heat settings are change while cooking.
I now own 3 All-Clad pans and could not be happier. They are some of the best cooking tools I've ever found."

Best frying pan ever
October 6, 2007 Katrinafrom Southbury, CT
"This pan does everything a frying pan should do. It cooks evenly, it's heavy duty, doesn't stain and it cleans beautifully. I just add hot water to the pan if there's any food stuck on, let it soak for about 15 minutes, and wash with hot soapy water. It comes totally clean every time, with very little effort!"
