This knife is great!

"I'm not much of a cook but after trying this knife, I was so impressed, that might change. The Wusthof Gourmet Santoku knife cuts and prepares vegetables so easily I actually bought one for all my friends as Christmas presents. With this knife I can chop, mince, and prepare like a pro. It's comfortable, well balanced, and so sharp it cuts cleanly and perfectly every time. I just have to wash it by hand which is a small price to pay to keep this knife perfect. I also learned from the Wusthof site the proper care of this and all good knives. Now they are stored on magnets, not in a drawer, and hand washed. Every time I replace a knife (or just want another) I buy Wusthof and am slowly getting a full set."

GREAT KNIFE

"Let me start by saying I love wustof! I bought this knife and was shocked at how sharp it truly was. I loved this knife. it was my first GOOD and sharp knife. it is light and easy to handle but I found that my blade was not as sharp as it had been, then it refused to hold an edge. found out that Hubby was putting my Beautiful knife in the dishwasher. it Ruined it! DO NOT put this knife in the dishwasher! I lost my wonderful knife because of that. Now hubby will not even hand wash my knives. LOL! It is better that way. No others have been sacrificed. I will have another Wustof some day soon. I will not be satisifed until I get my Wustof!"

This My Favorite Knife!

"This knife is nicely balances & stays sharp! My 1st one would dull quickly even after having it professionally sharpened. I contacted Wusthof and they had me return it for resharpening or replacement. They replaced it. Great company that stands by their products! I'm now very protective of this knife - it hangs on the magnetic strip in the sleeve it was received in!"
