Plus is still perfect for smaller chopping and grinding
jobs (a few garlic cloves or cinnamon sticks). It boasts
all the quality and features of a full-size processor,
including Cuisinart's exclusive auto-reversing
SmartPower blade, easy-to-use touchpad controls that
wipe clean, and the clear bowl that now holds almost 24
ounces. Removable parts are dishwasher safe. Small
enough to leave on the counter, easy to store. Comes
with a spatula, instruction book and 9 recipes.

I already had one, which I purchased about 8 yrs. ago. My husband needed to have his food pureed, so I got another one. I keep both of them on the kitchen counter. We are both 80 yrs. old.

This little, but mighty, machine is easy to use and clean, and it's about the same size as an electric can opener. It's very attractive on my counter and chops everything from carrots to potatoes. I'm really happy with this processor.
In the kitchen, I'm never without: vivid striped kitchen towels!

This chopper is ok but over priced. Here is the difference between my $3 XMAS handi chopper and this Cuisinart. This one will chop a single clove of garlic ($3 one would not do less than 3 or 4), this will do a whole medium onion ($3 one would only do like half an onion). They both chop things too fine in my opinion. Cuisinart is a little faster but we are talking seconds here.
So there are the differences between this $35 (on sale) Cuisinart VS $3 (normally around $7) no name chopper.

This does the job of chopping all those carrots, celery, onions that every French recipe starts with. So much easier to use than hauling out my big processor. Plus, I can really mince with it.

I really love my mini Cuisinart Mini-Prep Plus Food Processor. I wish I had bought it months ago! I have had it for about two weeks and have used it numerous times. I bought this exact item for my daughter over a year ago and almost bought me one at the same time. My daughter finally convinced me to get one! She loves hers and I love mine, too!

I use it for almost everything. Making salsa, chopping onions, juicing pomegranates, salad dressing, marinades, pesto. It is very versatile and since I have this mini food processor, I rarely use my larger food processor. I read many product reviews, looked at other brands and settled on this model. I have had a larger appliance for chopping but I use this one the most. The smaller size is just perfect for nuts, fruit, oats, onions, well, whatever. And the ease to clean makes it worth taking out and using. Because of the small size, I am able to keep it in the pantry and not tucked away in a higher cabinet, which means that I actually use it instead of using a knife (for smaller amounts).
Be aware though, the blade is sharp and stays sharp.

I bought this product about two years ago. In my apartment I stored it on my counter top and it took up virtually no space. I now live in a house and my cabinets have a small shelf inside and it fits perfectly on the shelf. This is great and handy especially if you do not feel like chopping. I would suggest it to anyone!!!

I purchased this last year and have found it to be my "Go-to" tool in the kitchen. It makes short work for chopping onions (no tears) and other vegetables. It makes the best salad dressing and really blends the ingredients. It maybe small in size but the quick time makes up for that. You can make a great pesto in no time. And my dressing for Tunafish is a flash. One of the best items I have bought

This is a really handy mini food processor, yet it is large enough to do serious work. I make batches of pesto, hummus, pate, salsa, and this size is great for me. In fact, it has been an essential part of my kitchen. I received my first mini-prep as a wedding gift. After regular use for 11 years, the motor died, and I missed it so much that I purchased the same model.
My only wish is that there was a better place for the cord for storage purposes.
