Great buy with reservations! November 9, 2007
Anonymous Reviewer from Goshen,NY

"I purchased my stock pot over a year ago, and have used it almost daily. But to my dismay, the the only design flaw is the lid handle. Mine cracked! The pot is still usable and produces raves from my children (probably the food), but I have to use tongs to lift the lid now. I still recommend Le Creuset to anyone that asks."

Handle with care! November 9, 2007
SandyD from SE Michigan

"I got the pot and I loved it. It's a perfect size and easy to clean. However, I was very disheartened when I discovered a chip on the bottom edge of the pot where part of the enamel had come off on both the inside and the outside. I don't recall hitting or bumping it. Be careful when handling!"

LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! October 28, 2007
Cathy from Sparrowbush, NY

"I love this pot. I just got it 4 days ago and have already used it twice, once for soup and once for chili. I got the pot in Kiwi
and love the color. Clean up is a snap!! It's not heavy at all, even when it is full. The 8 quart size is perfect, not too large and not too small. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase Le Creuset in the future. I am very satisfied with this pot."

Perfect Soup Pot October 19, 2007
Sandy from Knoxville, TN

"My mother got me this pot in red and I LOVE it! It is the best pot I have ever used for making soups and stews. You _must_ use lower heat because the soups can scorch easily on higher heat, but soups are always better when cooked slowly, anyway. Because the pot is enamel-on-steel, it is not too heavy to lift when filled with food. Clean up is a snap with this pot, too. If you cook a lot of soups, stews, and chilis, you really must have this pot!"
