I have a couple of these pots (ovens) and am more than pleased with how they cook. Roasts come out very flavorable, tender and delicious. I get many compliments from the family about how good the food tastes... I have several friends and neighbors who are constantly asking to borrow them , however, I will never take that chance of not getting them back...so I remain selfish......
Pros: Easy to Clean/Wash, Value for Money, Stay-cool handle, Variety of Colors, quality, Material, Warranty, easy to use, True to Color, even cooking, Heat distribution, multi-purpose, construction, size, Tight-fitting lid, Appearance/ Design /Style, Heat retention, non-stick, Performs Well, easy to store, durability, Functional/Useful, Long-lasting, Weight, capacity, how have i done without them??

This is the latest addition to my set which I began collecting in the early 1980s. As always, the quality of Le Creuset is unmatched for cooking, cleaning and beauty. I cannot recommend this brand more highly. When a couple of my very old pots starting showing signs of chipping, I was able to return them for a full replacement at no cost - the lifetime warranty is exactly that!
Pros: Easy to Clean/Wash, Value for Money, Variety of Colors, quality, Material, Warranty, easy to use, True to Color, even cooking, Heat distribution, multi-purpose, construction, size, Tight-fitting lid, Heat retention, Appearance/ Design /Style, non-stick, Performs Well, easy to store, durability, Functional/Useful, Long-lasting, capacity
Cons: Expensive/ Price, weight

Great, but overpriced

The paint job/colors are exquisite, but it's basically a cast iron pot with pretty paint and a lining/coating. Basically you are paying a premium price for the paint when there are other options that cook just as well.
The tao of sizes to color available is not immediately obvious to the casual observer. Don't understand why every size isn't available in every color.
Pros: Appearance/ Design /Style, even cooking, Performs Well, Tight-fitting lid, True to Color
Cons: Expensive/ Price

Favorite Pot

I received one of these as a wedding gift in 1976, and used it for soups and stews until this year, when I decided to replace it. It is still serviceable and was given to my mother, but I wanted the new Caribbean color. This new pan has become my standard soup and ettouffee pan. The enamel makes it easy to clean, and the heavy weight makes for great heat distribution. The bottom of the old pan was ridged, but this one has a flat bottom, which works even better on my ceramic cooktop. I have several sizes for different uses.
Pros: Appearance/ Design /Style, capacity, construction, durability, Easy to Clean/Wash, even cooking, Functional/Useful, Heat distribution, Heat retention, Long-lasting, multi-purpose, Performs Well, quality, size, True to Color, Variety of Colors
Cons: weight

Review 11 for Le Creuset 3.5-Quart Round French Oven
This gem is a pot that will not only work for almost anything you can imagine, it will last a lifetime! It is heavy...so bear that in mind, but it works equally well on the stove and in the oven. Braising is a breeze and the pot with it's perfectly fitting lid keeps foods moist all through the long cooking times. I've never had to add additional liquid to keep foods from drying out. And clean-up is a snap! Even with the most baked on foods (braising does that !) it just washes right off. And it it beautiful on the table, as well! Just make sure you get a color you like...you'll keep this one for the rest of your life!!
Pros: easy clean-up, goes from stove to oven to table
Cons: pot is heavy

I use this pot all the time; it's truly all-purpose. I basically use this pot and a skillet for all the food I prepare on the stovetop (and occasionally in the oven). Soups, risotto, stews, roasting. It's also super easy to clean and very durable. I expect to have it forever and plan to add more Creuset to my collection.
Pros: retains heat easy to clean durable all purpose
Cons: heavy

This little pot does just about everything for me in my kitchen, from sauces to soups to casseroles. It takes a beating and functions amazingly - retaining heat so that I can cook on lower settings (energy saving :-). It's durable, pretty (I have the dune color), & worth every penny.
