My KitchenAid mixer came with a glass bowl. I bought this bowl for two reasons - one to have a second bowl while I'm doing multiple batches or kinds of items and two - just in case I get careless and break the glass bowl. KitchenAid makes strong and sturdy products and I highly recommend them.

Love my 'power tool' for the kitchen and having an extra bowl is like having two extra hands! Love having this one with the handle...tremendously helpful for the past Christmas cookie season.

Too bad the bowl that came with my Artisan KitchenAid didn't come with a bowl with a handle. This should be the bowl that comes WITH the product.

When making 7 kinds of cookies in a night for the bake sale the next morning, having a bowl with a handle for easy handling is key. The bowl makes baking easier and is easy to clean before starting the next batch.

I love my Kitchen Aid Artisan Stand Mixer, but found I often needed a second bowl (to mix egg whites, dry ingredients, etc). This is just what I needed, and after doing some research, the price was very comparable to even the discount stores!

For recipes that utilize 2 batters or holiday baking, having a second bowl is a must. Make batter in one bowl, and whip egg whites in the second bowl, for the lightest melt in your mouth homemade waffles you've ever had. Then just toss both bowls in the dishwasher. "I love you Mom" was never easier.
