This is the second Kitchen Aid mixer I have had. I literally wore the old one out. the new one is just as great, works the same way, gives the same great preformannce and I look forward to a long and busy time with it.

I've been wanting this stand mixer for years and it has not disappointed. I bake a lot of cookies and now I spend a couple of hours, not a whole day, making dozens of them!

still remains the single most used appliance in my kitchen, and
it looks as if I just unwrapped it, so simple to clean and maintain. I cannot think of another appliance that I have had as
long,or used as often. Weekends you'll find me in my kitchen tackling a new recipe, it would be unimaginable to mix or blend
the delectable foods I prepare without my KitchenAid. Some recipes can be very intimidating to a new cook, but KitchenAid will give you that added confidence you need to make that pie
crust, souffle, cake, bread........well you get the idea. It inspires me, as I know it will you.

I just got this mixer for Christmas and I love it! My old one was 20 years old and I was ready for a new one. I can't believe how improved the new mixers are! The speed, the precision, the efficiency and so quiet! All the colors to pick from are exciting too. I considered getting the Pro series but for my cooking level, I decided this was the right choice for me. The first time I used it, my cabinets got covered with flour. Now I know why you need the bowl guard! Ha. Ha. I was blown away by the power! This mixer will last at least another 20 years for me! Thanks Santa!

I received this as a wedding gift over 7 years ago. It has held up with absolutely no problems. It's a classic appliance for a reason. I received it in red, which is a rich, beautiful red.

I don't know how I lived without the KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer. I use it to make everything from breads and baked goods to sauces and whipped potatoes. It is the ultimate kitchen tool because it it is easy to use, performs a variety of tasks, and produces reliable results each and every time. The available attachments and accessories (I use the grinder) make it even more indispensable in the kitchen. Every serious cook has got to have one of these. It can help turn a good cook into a great cook!

I love this mixer and have used it for everything from mashed potatoes to cookies to bread dough. The 5 quart capacity gives you what you need to get all the dough done at once to save time.Many of my friends have one and they have had theirs for many years so I will probably hand it down to my daughter. I got the cover which neatly conceals it on my counter. It is easy to clean up and the color selections make it fun. I haven't been this excited about a kitchen appliance in a LONG time!

The KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer is the very best investment my husband has made for me in a long time. I have had my mixer for more than 4 yrs and wouldn't trade it for a handmixer EVER!
I am a cookie nut and make cookies all the time, this mixer runs for hours on end in an average day in my kitchen. I love the way everything gets mixed so well together and consistently.
At Christmas I made over 12 types of cookies in 3 days. The Kitchen Aide Artisan Stand Mixer is a great addition to any kitchen and decor. Mine is red and I love how I could chose a color to reflect my personality!!!

Mine is green, just like Emeril's. My husband gave it to me for Christmas, knowing I had lingered over them in stores many times, only to leave with a longing sigh. I wept with joy when I opened it, and we have been fast friends ever since. I use mine all the time, for all kinds of things, from cookies and cakes to bread dough and beyond. What did I ever do without this marvelous machine? If you've wished for one but never bought it, Do It! Life's too short to go without something that saves you so much time!! Come on, you're worth it.

I can honestly say that I have no idea how I was able to cook before I got my Stand Mixer years ago. I use every attachment and accessory. My Christmas wish list always includes any new accessory. I have made the BEST raspberry ice cream ever. I have ground wheat berries for muffins and cookies. I learned to make lasagna noodles and pasta and have blown away the Italian neighbors. Puréeing fresh tomatoes for sauce is a snap. I have shredded vegetables and made the best coleslaw. I have used the dough hook and made pita bread that looked and tasted just like bakery bread. Of course the smell of fresh baked goods makes everyone smile.
My mom had one and I used it but I thought I couldn’t afford a Kitchen Aid. I ended up spending so much more on the other brands and I always was disappointed. They didn’t have the power or the motor burned out in the middle of something.
And then I got my own Kitchen-Aid. I was in love. My Kitchen Aid has always come through. This whole holiday season, Thanksgiving to New Years, it was in use every day for hours. I made hundreds of cookies for my family, friends, school and neighborhood stores as holiday gifts. I made many holiday meals for 12 to 20. There is no way that I could have done it without my Kitchen Aid.
I have given one to my sister-in-law (onyx) and my nieces (ice blue and tangerine), and my friends have all gotten one because I can not seem to stop talking about the hundreds of uses. I got the stand mixer bible books and that gave me even more ideas. My mixer is always plugged in and ready to go. This is one fabulous machine and you can quote me.

From Christmas baking to Catering this is the machine for you. Whether you are 2 people or cooking for a crowd this is your second pair of hands in the kitchen. I have made everything from Tortilla dough, Pavlovas (which need 20 minutes), Pasta dough, shredded hot beefs using the dough hook, and the usual cakes, breads, cookies. I give cooking classes and cater. I've had my kitchenaid for 19 years and it is the only one I have ever needed.

I purchased the "pumpkin" color mixer a couple of years ago. I also purchased a black version for my brother and a red one for my mother. I couldn't resist. My mom had never really splurged on anything like this before but I always remembered how she said she would like one. I was fortunate enough to get a nice holiday bonus and decided to treat all of us! I LOVE it! Easy to use! Easy to clean! We bake cookies, cakes, breads, stuffings, etc in this mixer and now my kids know how to use it! Holidays are the best! Stressful "family gatherings" no longer matter! I can hide in the kitchen with my wonderful mixer! Thanks for such a great product!

I'm a baker by trade so everyone assumed I didn't want to go home at the end of the work day and bake more. Everyone except my husband. When he bought me this Artisan mixer for Christmas, I literally jumped for joy. I've made more bread in the last three months than I have in the past three years (at home, that is). I don't know how I ever lived without this product. It stays on my counter, never put away, and the color looks great in my kitchen. My husband thought of that too! This product has me experimenting with new recipes all the time because it's so flexible, easy to use and easy to clean.

I was on my own for several years before I bought one of these. I burnt up 3 hand mixers and finally decided that I was just going to spend the money and get one. I have never regreted it. I use the mixer all of the time. Great for baking as well as making mashed potatoes in just a few minutes. Even my girls use it all the time.

I am a KitchenAid fan and I love my mixer. HOWEVER!!!! The offer came with a free meat grinder attachment that was listed on the packing slip. BUT, it was not in the the box. I had to go through the process of filling out a form, cutting the box proof of purchase, sending in the packing slip and mailing all that in. Ridiculous!! If a deal like that is offered it should be delivered complete. I was really angry at this lack of professionalism! Other than that I would NOT EVER hesitate to buy a KitchenAid Product.....I have never been disappointed.....

I absolutely love my KitchenAid mixer. It makes baking so much easier. The best attachment is the multi purpose one. It gets to the edges of the bowl so well.
If I had to come up with a con, it would be that it is heavy. However, knowing that I would have bought it anyway, it is awesome!
