"Shortly after we bought this for ourselves, we bought another as a host & hostess gift for a visit to old friends. That was almost two years ago, and the husband is still saying it's the best gift he ever received.
One caution: If the grip is positioned improperly, it can break the top of the wine bottle."

My Favorite Gift

"My father's wife called to thank me again after she used the corkscrew. Even with arthritis, she was easily able to open a bottle of wine which she has not been able to do with others that cost a whole lot more. I've had mine for almost 2 years and have not had to use the spare screw, and it is still easy to use. It has become my favorite wedding gift (along with some wine glasses) as it is not something most people buy for themselves and then they end up loving it. The first ones I bought were $19.99, but it is now $29.99 which is still a real bargain."
