"This seemed like a silly purchase, because I said I wanted my cookware collection to be streamlined. But, with it's thinner gauge steel, the price was right. It cooks asparagus to perfection, and I have been known to throw eggs in it to hard cook them or a bottle of syrup to warm up with hot water from the tap, so had limited versatility too. Besides, doesn't everyone deserve at least one novelty item in the kitchen? And seeing as this is a very functional, if seasonal, item it's a good choice."
