I have been using the Chef'sChoice Cordless Teakettle for years. I love it. My son was staying with us and used it. He liked it very much. He wanted to purchase this teakettle and asked where he could purchase it. My recent purchase of this teakettle is a gift for my son.

I bought one of these for my daughter and one for my sister as Christmas gifts. They both rave about the design and features of this kettle. My old electric kettle died last week so I just ordered one of these for myself. My sister particularly liked the removable lid. I like the fact that this one is made of stainless steel rather than plastic, which is rather questionable these days from a health standpoint.

I've had this for 3 years and it's still like new. It works wonderful! Hot water almost instantly. Jello, hot chocolate, tea, instant coffee, I've even boiled eggs in it!! It cleans up in a jif and doesn't take up space on the stove. It shuts off automatically so you never have to worry about it boiling dry or forgetting about an open flame. Water stays warm for a long time and it's big enough for 3 LARGE mugs of water. You will love this everythingkettle!

This tea kettle heats so quickly, it's better and faster than the microwave! I have purchased 4 in the past 8 years....we have two homes and I have given 2 others as gifts. I use it to brew tea, (of course!), but also for many recipes in the kitchen. You'll never want to be without it! It is easy to clean and looks and functions like the day I bought it.

The price is right, the look is very attractive and I see no sign of wear after 6+ years of almost daily usage. The manufacturer stands behind the product (as does Chef's). When the lid pull-ring snapped off after a guest got a little too exuberant the company replaced the whole lid at no cost. This a favorite in our kitchen.

Boils water faster than either stovetop or microwave. Nice polished finish. First used this model of teakettle while on vacation. Like it so much bought 3 for family and friends. This teakettle has been thoughtfully designed. It's visually appealing, relatively compact, and it functions beautifully. When filled to its maximum, water boils in less than 6 minutes! Not only does it look great, but it functions well!

I loved the look and design of the tea kettle and was anxious to use it. When it arrived, it was not the brushed stainless steel I anticipated. No doubt, my error in not confirming that it was a brushed stainless steel finish. I simply gifted it to my daughter in law who loves it.

A well designed appliance is a thing of beauty! This kettle heats to a boil quickly, pours well and has excellent safety features like automatic shut off for boiling water or a dry kettle. It's construction is sturdy and it's attractive on my counter top. An excellent buy!

Bought this to replace an electric kettle that kept falling apart. This boils water faster than I could imagine, is very easy to keep shiny and new, and looks very spiffy on my countertop. It's so good I am realizing Chef's must be a good company!
Only downside might be a somewhat shorter cord than some folks might want.

Water boils quickly and the kettle does not switch off immediately which means that a rolling boil is achieved. Very important for a good cup of tea.

This cordless teakettle is one of the best additions to our kitchen that we've made in years. Not only does it boil water faster than a kettle on the stove-top, it turns off automatically after it comes to a full boil. While its price tag is a bit more than a stainless-steel or stoneware variety, over time it will be a big savings, since we've been known to get distracted and boiled a standard kettle to death. If you boil water regularly for hot drinks, this is a MUST!

This is the fourth kettle I am trying. Just on superficial inspection it seems to be the best so far: the switch which has a base for support appears unlikely to break very soon, and the lid snaps in securely so that it cannot fall off when you pour, even if you turn the kettle upside down. The top opens far enough for a hand to reach in and clean the interior. The whole thing has a feeling of quality, and the kettle is pretty.
