Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker Freezer Bowl

Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker Freezer Bowl : Make an extra 1.5 quarts of frozen dessert with this double-insulated freezer bowl, for use with the Cuisinart Automatic Frozen Yogurt, Ice Cream & Sorbet Maker. The freezer bowl must be completely frozen before you begin your recipe. Before freezing, wash and dry the bowl. Wrap it in a plastic bag to prevent freezer burn. We recommend that you place the freezer bowl in the back of your freezer where it is coldest. Be sure to place the freezer bowl on a flat surface in its upright position for even freezing. The length of time needed to reach the frozen state depends on how cold your freezer is. For the most convenient frozen desserts, leave your freezer bowl in the freezer at all times. You can take it out any time for immediate use. In general freezing time should be a minimum of 12 hours. To determine whether the bowl is completely frozen, shake it. If you do not hear liquid moving, the cooling liquid is frozen. Model number ICE-RFB Fits Models: ICE-20, ICE-21, and ICE-25 Reminder: Your freezer should be set to 0 degrees F to ensure proper freezing of all foods.

Not only do I love my ice cream maker. I had to order this second Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker Freezer Bowl so that I could make two different kinds of ice cream at the same time. Love my new bowl.

The freezer bowls are very reliable in staying cold throughout the process of making cream. It's very handy to have extra bowls to make larger batches of ice cream.

We bought our Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker years ago and the original bowl is still going strong. We just purchased a second freezer bowl so that we wouldn't be without multiple flavors of ice cream at any time. Easy to care for. I just pop it into a freezer bag to help protect the surfaces and keep both of them in the freezer, ready to go at a moments notice.

I bought this when I bought my Ice Cream maker from Chefs. I love it because I didnt have anything like this for my ice cream and sorbet treats. The double insulation sold me and I'm glad I bought it. It does a superb job in keeping my frozen ice cream or sorbet in a ready-to-eat condition. If you have the ice cream maker this freezer bowl is a must.

One For The Money And...

.....Two for the show. Yup!
Since the bowls must be in the freezer for 24 or more hours, (I found this to work best) I needed two bowls. In the summer and spring months, I make ice cream or frozen yogurt almost every other day. OK. The Worlds Worst Cook dares to share her stuff. Gotta show off once in a while. Frozen yogurt is the favorite among friends and family so I fill small yogurt like containers and deliver...If my heart is in the right place. I do make ice cream and frozen yogurt year round for me.
I do not have a "sweet tooth" like many folks, but French vinilla ice cream will get my attention. Always. Yummy stuff!

I can't tell you how much I love my Cuisinart Ice Cream maker! I had tried one from another site that uses salt and it was a mess every time. When I bought Cuisinart, I bought TWO bowls. Either I can make one batch and then switch bowls for more, or a different flavor, or I can make sorbet in one and ice cream for another. I have someone who is lactose intolerant and she will have a severe interaction so I can use one bowl for milk and one for no milk. I would definitely get at least two or three bowls depending on family size, amount of consumption or for foods that require special ingredients for those who cannot have what others are having!
