If my kitchen had just one knife, this would be it. The best shape for detail as well as slicing through vegetables, meats, virtually all foods with complete control. While it cannot replace the classic French Chef knife for speed, it sure runs a close second (imo). My favorite present for those who share a passion for cooking. Two thumbs up (and if I were born with more thumbs, they would be up, too!).
In the kitchen, I'm never without: My favorite knifves, well sharpened.

This is a wonderful knife for small or fine cutting work. It also trims fat from meat very well making it a healthier food for you. It has the wonderful Wusthof Classic look and heft. Wusthof knives just feel good in your hand.
In the kitchen, I'm never without: Good equipment for cooking and baking
Pros: balanced, Riveted, easy to use, multi-purpose, construction, size, Performs Well, durability, Forged, Full tang, Easy to Clean/Wash, Value for Money, quality, Appearance/ Design /Style, Ergonomic handle, easy to store, Functional/Useful, Long-lasting, Weight

Gift for my husband who lost his favorite paring knife. He loves it. Very sharp. effortless cutting. Great pointed style at the tip. Love the small size but would also like to find the same knife in a slightly larger size

Favorite Knife of All Time

This little Wusthof Classic Trimming Knife designed after paring knives I was brought up with, too many years ago. (Or, maybe those old knives became this shape after many sharpening jobs.) No matter, this knife easier to work with than the straight or outward curved bladded ones. It seemed to take forever for me to find this little treasure, however having done so bought one for myself, and since perhaps six to give as gifts to people who love to cook, as well. I can safely say, that in their opinion as they expressed it to me, this is their favorite knife, too. It does everything, fits in the hand nicely and actually, I should indulge in a couple more for when fellow cooks visit...Great Work Wusthof!

My favorite knife of all!!!

This is my go-to knife. I use the big ones to do the heavy work and grab this little beauty for everything else. It's flexible enough to remove the cantaloupe from the shell, once sectioned, and little enough to get inbetween bones when that's needed. Feels good in the hand and does about everything I need doing in the kitchen.
Pros: flexible easy to maneuver
Cons: just a teeny bit too short for somethings

My favorite knife. Very nice feel in the hand and deft enough for any prep job requiring precision. I'm going to order another one as a spare because I would not be a happy cook without it. Highly recommend!
