I purchased this knife as a Christmas stocking stuffer for my hubby. It has a nice weight to it and is comfortable in my hand as well as his. Sharp blade that can be resharpened as needed. I would recommend.

I already owned two Wusthof knives: the chef's knife and a santoku. I needed something a bit smaller for slicing and dicing. This knife is well-balanced, feels like an extension of my hand, and is razor sharp. I find myself reaching for it more and more often.

Super knives

I have had a set of these knives for about 4 years and somehow the utility knife got lost so I replaced it with this one. I have been very pleased with these knives. A Cutco salesman tried to show me how his knives were better but everything they could do, so could the Wusthof and the Wusthof are prettier. They hold an edge for a long time but are easily sharpened with the sharpening rod (not sure it's called that, but you know what I mean). Like all good knives, they should be washed by hand but mine have all gone thru the DW numerous times. They are comfortable to use and very well made. These are quality knives to last a lifetime (if you don't lose them!)
Pros: Full tang, Easy to Clean/Wash, balanced, quality, Material, Riveted, easy to use, multi-purpose, construction, Appearance/ Design /Style, Ergonomic handle, easy to store, durability, Long-lasting, Weight
Cons: Expensive/ Price

I am not a great chef but am getting a few of these knives at a time in order to complete a set for my father, who is. He loves them and says these are the absolute BEST. A little pricey so I buy when they're on sale. You can't go wrong with these Wusthof Classics.

This is my favorite knife for little everyday tasks like preparing apples for snack. It fits my hand perfectly. Wusthof is simply the best product out there, in my opinion. Treated well, it will last a lifetime.

Workhorse of my Kitchen

While I have an array of Wusthof Classic Knives in different sizes, this one is the workhorse of my kitchen. It is great for small dicing jobs, cutting a sandwich, slicing cheese and sharp enough to cut meats and other proteins. Wusthof knives are ground to be so sharp that they hold their edges very well with proper care. When attending some professional cooking classes, the well stocked kitchens in chefs training schools are always stocked with Wusthof.
