Pretty good grinder!

"Never had any trouble with mine - I've had it for well over a year and use it probably once or twice a week. I intend to upgrade to a fancy burr grinder at some point, but the Cuisinart has certainly gotten the job done. Generally I fill it up about halfway and run it for 40 seconds or so, which makes for a pretty nice (and consistent) fine/espresso grind. It does tend to make a little bit of a mess - especially when taking the lid off - but aside from that, no complaints."

"I really love this grinder. It is easy to use and the thing I love about it most is the removable grinder cup. It's Awesome! I have had mine for a few years now and it still works like it is brand new."

Don't buy one

"I bought this item despite the first reviewer's advice about it failing after one use because I, too, have always received excellent products and services from CHEFS.
My machine actually worked twice before stopping!
Unfortunately, in order to return it and get a refund, one needs to have access to KINKOS or FEDEX STORE (mere drop box will not do).
Beware.
Cuisnart in general looks good, but the quality seems to be lacking in functionality areas."

"I purchased a Cuisinart Coffee Grinder. It is a neat little gadget, even though it only worked once. I shipped it back and they are going to send me a new one. What great customer service!"
