These Replaced All My Existing Dish TowelsJanuary 31, 2009 radioStarfrom Tulsa, OK
"They're the hugest and most absorbent--what more could I ask for in a dish towel? I purchased six of these flour-sack towels 3 years ago and they are still performing like work horses. If they ever wear out, I certainly intend to buy more from Chefs Catalog.
I use the towels on my everyday dishes and cookware, as well as my bone china, silver, and fine crystal. Not only do they absorb quickly, but they are completely lint-free and wick out the moisture from the smallest crevices with ease.
I have purchased other flour-sack towels in the past and found them to be smaller, less absorbent and not nearly so soft--yet the cost was about the same or higher. All of the old towels have now been retired to my rag drawer."

Flour Sack TowelsMarch 16, 2010 Didifrom Chicago, IL
Cons: Difficult to Clean/Wash, Difficult to use
"While the towels are soft and dry well without lint (as advertised), they are HUGE. I wish that these were half the size, as they are very unwieldy. Also notice that the washing instructions state that no detergent is necessary. Well, I live in a high rise and pay $1 for a load of laundry and cannot wash just a few towels separately. So, I am a little disappointed in these towels."
Pros: Appearance/ Design /Style, durability, Easy to Clean/Wash, multi-purpose, Performs Well, quality, size, Value for Money Cons: none so far!
"These towels are super absorbent and big. Not only are they good for drying dishes and glasses, but they work well cleaning mirrors. I am enjoying them."

Best kitchen towelsMarch 9, 2010 Surffrom Philaadelphia, PA
Pros: Appearance/ Design /Style, capacity, durability, Easy to Clean/Wash, easy to store, easy to use, Functional/Useful, Long-lasting, multi-purpose, Performs Well, quality, size
"I order these now solely from CHEF'S, as others I've bought elsewhere proved flimsy. These are large, well-made, and utterly functional in our kitchen. They're especially good for drying dishes. When they become overused, I recycle them into cleaning cloths, especially for windows and glass. We do not want to be without these towels in our kitchen or home."
"These towels are great!!! They are the size of the old-fashioned diapers we used to use for kitchen towels. They are very absorbent and I wouldn't be without them in my kitchen,"

"These towels are large enough to tie around your waist as an apron. Whenever I have friends helping in the kitchen, they rave when I hand out these towels."

Nothing Beats ThemJanuary 7, 2008 noel00hfrom Sedalia, MO
"It's a simple white square of cotton. It absorbs any and all water in it's path. It doesn't smear the water around like a tea towel. It doesn't leave bits of thread behind like a terry cloth. Whenever one eventually gets a hole in it, I use it for a furniture rag."
