"After 41 years plus of marriage, and multiple waffle makers through all those years, I've finally found one we truly love. I tried it for the first time last night using an old srand-by recipie, and can honestly say they were by far the best waffles I've ever made.
The maker is very easy to use, even for someone with significant arthritis, very easy to flip, and easy to clean. While I started making the waffles on # 4, my husband requested they be a bit more crispy so I moved up to # 4 1/2 which made them "pure perfection" to quote my waffle connisour,
I can't wait to make them for our grandkids who are wild about waffles and who I know will enjoy flipping them over,
The handle design makes the maker, even though it's not small, easy to store, and with cleaning it so easy, I I know I'll be making waffles far more frequently than I used to.. I'll continue to recommend it to family and friends and purchase it for engagement gifts. This is a keeper."

"My husband likes the "flip" waffle makers you find in hotels, so he got one for Christmas. I didn't really expect much, but was I surprised. First of all, it makes GREAT WAFFLES. But, important to me, it's lightweight and easy to store. Cleaning is easy (as in I brush away loose crumbs and drips usually just flake off).
I normally use a prepared mix (like Carbons or Stonewalls) and find that I get a really light crisp waffle by making sure that I don't dilly dally when pouring the mixture onto the iron and I use milk instead of water. Also, I have made one recipe from the little instruction pamphlet that came with the waffle iron. The recipe called for yeast, and it made 10 of the lightest waffles you can imagine.
Warning - another reviewer commented she used nuts and berries in her batter. When I used blueberries, they stuck to the surface and were a pain to clean. I don't know what she did to keep it from sticking."
"We got this for Christmas and used it that morning to make some of the best waffles I've ever had. It is easy to use and clean and makes the perfect Belgian Waffles. Highly recommended!"

"I bought this waffle iron for my husband for Christmas and I am amazed! It is quick and easy to use AND is easy to clean up! The waffles have come out great each time. What I like most about it is that it is so fast that the person making the waffles gets to eat with everyone else. We also enjoy the waffles for dessert, what fun!"

"I have recommended this waffle maker to all of my family members and friends. The operation of the unit is quite simple, easy to clean and makes excellent Belgian Waffles every time. My husband loves waffles, so it's used several times a week with no complaints. When he wants "crispier" waffles I simply adjust the dial of the heating element! All of the grandchildren request waffles for breakfast when they are visiting as they love to flip it over and eat the waffle they have made."

"My husband loves waffles and was impressed with the hotel breakfast bars that allow you to make your own waffles. Not alot of restaurants serve waffles anymore, so when I saw this one on sale, I had to get it for him. It's so easy to use, the instruction manual should be entitled "Waffles for Dummies". It's non-stick coating is super easy to clean and I love the spill tray underneath. It turns out (literally) perfect waffles everytime. The adjustable setting allows each one to have made-to-order crispness. It really couldn't be more simple to operate and anyone could pretty much figure out how to operate it without the manual. Just plug in, adjust the temp to your liking, flip the switch, you are alerted when it's ready, fill, then close the lid and rotate handle. Wait for the beep and "Voila!", perfect restaurant quality waffles, every time!"

"This is the at-home-version of the professional flip Belgium waffle iron you've seen in the upscale hotels, but at a fraction of the cost. It is a no-brainer to work. There are "beep" cues when it is hot enough, when to turn it and when it is finished. A measuring cup is included so you do not put too much batter on the iron. You can use the recipies that are included or use your own. While it has a non-stick finish, I like to use a light cooking spray between waffles. This is the fastest waffle iron so, be prepared to keep them warm or have folks make their own. Clean-up is a breeze and you'll never regret this purchase."

"I have seen and used this brand and style of waffle maker for quite some time now. Waring has a reputation of making excellent products and this item is no exception. Easy to use and easy to clean up, it is definitely a small appliance which is both fun and pleasurable to use, especially considering the tasty and consistent results it produces. The best part is that once you get used to its heat settings, spray just a tad of non-stick, and load it properly, you won't have that normal "toss that first waffle away" results common to most waffle makers."

"I had wanted a wafflemaker that functioned like the ones I had used in hotels. Last year I purchased the waffle maker. I love it. It is easy to use and clean. For years I used the type that the "square" waffle had to be lifted from the bottom and removal was occasionally difficult. Filling the square spaces was never truly even unless the batter ran over. With the waffle maker this is not a problem. The flipping midway also makes the waffle easier to remove. The time savings is wonderful. The best part is it makes a tasty waffle."
