"My husband loves waffles and was impressed with the hotel breakfast bars that allow you to make your own waffles. Not alot of restaurants serve waffles anymore, so when I saw this one on sale, I had to get it for him. It's so easy to use, the instruction manual should be entitled "Waffles for Dummies". It's non-stick coating is super easy to clean and I love the spill tray underneath. It turns out (literally) perfect waffles everytime. The adjustable setting allows each one to have made-to-order crispness. It really couldn't be more simple to operate and anyone could pretty much figure out how to operate it without the manual. Just plug in, adjust the temp to your liking, flip the switch, you are alerted when it's ready, fill, then close the lid and rotate handle. Wait for the beep and "Voila!", perfect restaurant quality waffles, every time!"

"This is the at-home-version of the professional flip Belgium waffle iron you've seen in the upscale hotels, but at a fraction of the cost. It is a no-brainer to work. There are "beep" cues when it is hot enough, when to turn it and when it is finished. A measuring cup is included so you do not put too much batter on the iron. You can use the recipies that are included or use your own. While it has a non-stick finish, I like to use a light cooking spray between waffles. This is the fastest waffle iron so, be prepared to keep them warm or have folks make their own. Clean-up is a breeze and you'll never regret this purchase."

The Perfect Waffle Maker

"I got hooked on waffles staying in hotels that had a waffle bar set up with this type of waffle maker and a pre-measured cups of batter. Now I can make them at home just as easily and they always turn out perfect with no sticking. Plus, there is next to no clean up - just put the drip pan in the dishwasher.
I use the easy to remember first thing in the morning recipe of - 1 egg, 1 c flour, 1 cup buttermilk, 1 tbsp melted butter. Separate one egg and beat white until stiff. Mix 1 cup of buttermilk (or reg milk) with the egg yolk. Mix liquid into 1 cup of flour, add 1 tablespoon of melted butter. Fold in beaten egg whites and cook to perfection in the Waring waffle iron."

"If you love wffles, this is a product you MUST HAVE. Tender, perfectly brown and fast, you can turn out enough for a family and stil sit down to eat yourself. I have never had a waffle iron I was satisfied with until this one. So easy even a child can operate with supervision. Easy clean up, too. In my opinion, a great buy for any kitchen."

"I tried a similar waffle maker in a hotel last summer and was hooked. This is so easy to use and the waffles are absolutely delicious. "My father-in-law gave us a Waring Belgian Waffle Iron a few months ago, and we have used it at least 10 times since then. It makes terrific waffles, and the kids especially like getting to pour in batter and flip it over like they do when we stay at a hotel.
All you have to do is turn on the machine, select the brown-ness that you prefer (we like it set to "4"), pour in the batter that you like (some recipes are included but we use our own version that is allergy-safe for my kids), and flip it over. The machine beeps to let you know when the waffle is done - just takes a couple of minutes. And they are done perfectly every time!
When I have used a "regular" waffle batter that has milk and eggs in it, there has been no trouble with sticking. But when I use the allergy-safe version (that is made without milk and eggs), I do find that I need to use a cooking spray to keep the waffles from sticking. But even with that, all I need to do for clean-up is wipe it off well, and then it is ready for the next time.
I don't like to keep a lot of kitchen appliances around cluttering up the place, but this is one that I will hang onto!"

"I Love this waffle maker! I actually used this waffler at an inn when I was on vacation. I thought it would be wonderful if I could purchase one just like it. So I found it at Chef's and the rest is history!! Waffles are light and fluffy and never stick to the waffle maker. Easy cleanup too! One of the best features is that the waffles are done so fast. Makes breakfast for a crowd a snap. This would make a great gift and if you love waffles this is the waffler for you!!"

"I love this waffle maker. It is Very easy to use, it does all the work for you. You pour the batter in the grid, flip it over, the machine locks and cooks the waffle to perfection. then it will beep to let you know it is ready. you flip it back over and remove your waffle. It cooks the waffles so fast It still amazes me. I would buy it again. and am thinking about giving it as a gift for christmas. It is truly worth the price."

"We purchased this waffle maker solely for making Belgian waffles during family holiday visits. We have not regretted the purchase. This iron created outstanding crisp outside, fluffy inside Belgian waffles for a family of five. Performance was consistent with each waffle produced. Performance was also consistent with different brands of waffle and pancake mix. This is a very nice waffle iron!"
