At first touch they seem too light and almost flimsy, but on inspection they are well designed and made. No sign of rust after several uses. Two sizes (smaller and larger) are all that is needed. I'll give the middle size away. I clean them with a brush which I use carefully though for fear of bending the frame.

They are just exactly what I was hoping they were. They fit into the dishwasher on the top rack with no problem. So much better than an old fashioned strainer with the big holes. This is one purchase I am more happy about now than the day I purchased them!

The colanders were nicely packed, the sizes and the weight of the colanders are what I was looking for, I used the smallest size right way to wash my cherry tomatoes, it was the perfect size for the job. I wouldn't however drain frozen chopped spinach it would take too long to clean the colander afterwards. I like the colanders because of their base, I had the ones with the long handles but I always had to look for something to rest the colander on. I just love them. Thanks CHEFS for your unique products.

We purchased a set of these colanders several years ago and are still using them but needed more. They are sturdy and very useful for storage as well as for straining.

I received only days ago and have already used these colanders many times . Thus far, I have used for rinsing and draining fruits and vegetables and for draining cooked vegetables. They are very light weight - but sturdy. They are neat, easy to clean and fit beautifully in very cupboard space. I love them!.

I've wanted a set of these colanders for years, but have been unwilling to pay the price for them at the ritzy cooking stores I have seen them in. I couldn't resist buying them at your low price, and I love them. My only complaint is that there isn't a "very large" sized one in the set. These will meet my everyday needs, no problem, but when I'm cooking for a crowd (30-200 people), I'll have to use my old, chipped one. I had hoped to throw that one away.

You can never have too many colanders in the kitchen, so these are very handy for various items: fruit, tuna, canned goods, etc. I thought the price was modest for the set.

the set is beautiful and well made. I was able to clean them well after each use. I used them to wash chicken and all sorts of vegetables and fresh herbs and to strain rice -- worked very well. One could use a soft brush to clean the mesh, if necessary. I am very glad I bought them. I will find many uses for this set.

Sturdy, well built and the three sizes are all very useable. The mesh is not so small as to make cleaning difficult, not too big as to make it useless. All three in the set are 'just right'. Great gift for the chef in your life.

They are light, does what they're suppose to. Love how they stack for easy storage.
Holes are too big for sifting dry baking ingredients but i didn't buy it for that.
I hand wash them and air dry; no problem with rusting here. hopefully never!!

I am so pleased that I purchased this set of colanders! For years I've used plastic colanders, collapsable colanders and stainless steel colanders. But these are the best I've tried. I like that they are screens on the frame so that even the smallest of pieces can't go through and fall out. My first test was when I had to wash a 15 bean assortment and I was impressed that not even the smallest bean fell through. I like the fact that all three nest together and the assorted sizes are perfect for a variety of foods, such as fruit, small amounts of an item, etc. I cook constantly and I highly recommend this set of colanders! They are a great value, too!

The bottoms are flat so when you pour pasta in they do not tip.They stack inside each other so take up minimal space in the cupboard.I would recommend these colanders to everyone!
