cast iron cookware is preseasoned so it's ready to
use right out of the box. The revolutionary process
penetrates metal's pores thoroughly and uniformly.
It looks and performs better than traditional home
seasoning. Cookware retains all the benefits of cast
iron: even heating, superior heat retention, and
stick-resistant performance. Oven safe. Made in the USA.

I bought this as a gift for a young man who loves to cook and has always admired cast iron. He loved it. And I loved that it has a cover, is a useful size and pre-seasoned. I was lucky enough to get free shipping during a special promotion (a real bonus on such a heavy item). It is excellent quality.
Pros: construction, durability, capacity, Value for Money, quality, Appearance/ Design /Style

THIS IRON pan will never go out of style.... I immediatley made a beef stew in it and it came out so great. I had my great grandmothers iron pans and foolishly threw them away some years ago.. missing them I bought this . I Was not disapointed at all. It cleans up so easily. Have used it everyday since I recieved it. My great grandmother knew what she was doing with those iron pans, my grandmother used iron pan, my mom used iron pans. WHy I threw them out is beyond me but now I am so happy to have started a new collection. This pan however, is so versitile I use it for everything. On top of the stove and in the oven.
In the kitchen, I'm never without: mitts

This wonderful skillet joins several other Lodge skillets in my cooking collection. The high sides prevent grease spatters from surrounding areas, which was my reason for ordering it. Best chicken ever.

I was so happy to to get my Lodge cast iron fry pan. I love cast iron cook ware. I enjoy cooking with my new fry pan, it heats quickly and evenly; it cooks the best deep fried fish so golden brown and crispy and I love crispy food. Chicken, fish, and french fries that are soft inside and crispy outside and this pan does it all beautifully. Everything i cook in my fry pan from chicken to pot roasts the results are wonderful. Clean up is a breeze ; I wipe the pan out with paper towels and put it away. The quality is very good, the price is right, and wonderful for gift giving. It is one of the best buys I ever got from Chefs.

Love this pan. Fried chicken was awesome in it. I will use it over and over!
Pros: capacity, construction, durability, even cooking, Heat distribution, Heat retention, Long-lasting, Material, Value for Money
I just love this skillet. It fries chicken and pork really well. The meat comes out nice and brown and juicy. The skillet is heavy and very sturdy. It's easy to clean. It cooks things at a lower heat.I keep mine in my oven. I am considering getting a smaller skillet that would be good for cooking smaller things such as eggs or rice.
When I was growing up my mom had cast iron skillets so I am used to using them, I am not disappointed wthi this skillet. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a nice, cast iron skillet
