A great gift! October 19, 2007
ChefJohn from St. Louis, Missouri

"These strainers are the most versitle set of tools in my entire kitchen! The smallest strainer is great for making a cup of tea or straining lemon juice. While the largest I use for sieving deviled egg filling or pureed asparagus for creamy deviled eggs and silky smooth cream soup. The medium sized strainers are great for sieving custard or just retrieving small batches of pasta or vegetables from boiling water. Finally, the strainers are very durable which allows for a variety of uses in the kithcen."

Versatile Utility tools June 2, 2008
Lindy from Los Angeles, CA

"These strainers/sifters are wonderful in the kitchen. They work well for sifting flour and powdered sugar and they are fabulous for straining lemon/lime juice and catching the pulp and seeds. The large one fits nicely over the sink for straining cooked spinach. A great addition to a serious cooks' kitchen."

Still sturdy after all these years.... February 21, 2008
Shaniqua from Massachusetts

"I bought a set of Chef's Food strainers about 5 years ago and they are still in perfect shape. These strainers have gotten some seriously rough treatment too - left overnight in the sink with pancake batter hardened on them, AND my husband actually used one to strain some ROCKS for planting paperwhite bulbs. I was about to scream when he held it up and said 'Look, it's fine!'
Excellent sturdy construction. I wish I could give them 6 stars! :)"

"I use one of these every day. Great for sifting flour/cornstarch into gravies/sauces. Also works well for "dusting" with powdered sugar. Great bridal shower gift!"
